The evolution of heidiskis continues for 2010!

Based on the direct feedback of more than 50 ambassadors heidiskis – skiers of various levels who tested the skis in diverse conditions and varied terrain throughout  Europe, the USA and Canada – the premier Swiss-based luxury ski has refined their already elevated approach.

New for 2010 are new ski lengths, a new “wood dragon” graphic, and a new titanal topsheet on all skis:  a change that enhances torsional resistance and increases maneuverability, yet maintains the light weight high-performance feel heidiskis is known for.  The skis will continue to feature high performance elements including: PTEX 5000 base, stainless steel edges, and ABS sidewalls.

Heidiskis has also moved production to a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Known for its innovation and quality, the new facility adds high quality Swiss craftsmanship to heidiskis unique hands-on manufacturing approach.

The “wood dragon” limited edition graphics build on the tradition of the heidiskis Himalayan Dragon Series.  The 2010 graphics feature the dragons printed on a white ash wood, framed by a metal top, tail and base guard.   The combination of woodgrain and Himalayan styling highlights the unique, natural aspects of the ski – and reflects heidiskis commitment to providing 10% of profits to the American Himalayan Foundation.
